Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how GameHubVerse uses cookies, local storage, session storage, scripts, pixels, and similar technologies. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

How Preferences Work

On the first privacy screen, you may choose Manage preferences or Accept all. In Manage preferences, optional categories can be enabled or left disabled, and Save & Exit records your selection. You can reopen the controls at any time through Preferences in the website menu or footer.

Essential Technologies

Essential technologies are used without optional consent where legally permitted because the requested service cannot operate securely without them. They support login sessions, account security, email verification, anti-forgery controls, consent storage, theme and display choices, cloud synchronization, checkout continuity, purchase delivery, entitlement restoration, fraud prevention, and Cloudflare/Turnstile security.

Current GameHubVerse Storage

• PHP session identifier (name may vary): maintains login and server-side session security. Usually expires at the end of the browser session or according to the server session configuration.
• ghv_cookie_consent_v2: stores essential, analytics, and advertising choices for up to 180 days.
• zon_theme: stores the selected light or dark appearance in local storage until changed or cleared.
• ghv_recently_played_v1: stores a short local list of recently played games so the homepage can show Continue Playing. It remains until updated or browser storage is cleared.
• ghv_mobile_preview_hint_seen_until_v37: remembers that a mobile interface hint was shown. It is stored for approximately seven days.
• ghv_pending_purchase: stores limited product and game information in session storage while a checkout is active. It is removed when the checkout is completed, canceled, recovered, or the browser session ends.
• ghv_analytics_guest_v1: creates a first-party guest analytics identifier only after analytics consent. It remains in local storage until browser data is cleared or analytics consent is withdrawn, at which point GameHubVerse removes it where technically available.

Analytics

With your permission, GameHubVerse may collect gameplay and technical events such as page views, game launches, device category, browser, operating system, errors, progress events, and feature usage. We use this information to improve games, performance, reliability, and player experience. GameHubVerse analytics scripts remain disabled until analytics consent is recorded.

Advertising

Advertising providers may use cookies, identifiers, local storage, scripts, or similar technologies to load, limit, measure, secure, and personalize advertisements. These may include consent signals, IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, page or game context, ad impressions, interactions, frequency controls, and fraud signals.

Before personalized Google ads are served to visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the advertising setup must use a Google-certified consent management platform. The provider message may list additional Google advertising partners, purposes, storage names, and retention periods. Contextual, non-personalized, or limited ads may be used where supported and legally permitted.

Payments, Sign-In and Security Providers

• Google Sign-In: Google may use its own security and authentication storage when you choose to sign in.
• Xsolla: Xsolla may use necessary checkout, security, fraud-prevention, localization, and payment-session technologies when you open its payment interface.
• Cloudflare and Turnstile: Cloudflare may use security cookies or challenge storage, including provider-controlled names such as cf_clearance where a challenge requires it.
• Independent games: a disclosed external game or developer may use additional necessary technologies under its own notice where that game operates independently.

Your Choices

You can change GameHubVerse analytics and advertising choices through Privacy choices. When Google advertising is live, its certified provider message may also control Google-specific advertising purposes and partners. Withdrawing consent does not automatically erase information already lawfully processed.

Blocking all browser storage may prevent login, cloud saves, purchases, preferences, or games from working correctly. You may also remove or block storage through your browser, but browser controls do not always replace website or advertising-provider consent controls.

Changes

We may update this Policy when storage names, providers, consent requirements, or website features change. The list above should be reviewed whenever a new analytics, advertising, payment, sign-in, or game provider is activated.
